I was born in 1962 in Lexington, SC, graduated Lexington High School and promptly entered the US Army National Guard in 1980 where I would stay until 1985. I worked for state government and various corporations such as Sara Lee Corp as well as  Langenschidt Publishing until I ventured into business ownership in the late 90's as a construction company  named TPS Contracting. Once I became licensed as a Residential Home Builder, I  decided I wanted to be able to sell the homes I would build.  So, I got my Real Estate license in 2003, then in 2006, I attained my Brokers license.  I have recently launched a web design and marketing business (E Pro Web Service) that assists me in my online marketing and satisfies my creative technology need.

Some of my hobbies and interests are the outdoors, beaches, animals, health, sports, wood working, self improvement, the power of positive thinking, and people.

I am married to Teri Smith, a Mortgage Banker for RBC Bank. We reside in Lexington and have four kids between us (2 are mine, 2 are hers), 3 grown & gone, 1 still at home.
